Fiddler and tunesmith Mark Simos wrote the driving Last Straw. As for Johnny Court the Widow, Bruce Greene recorded Kentucky fiddler Roy Bennett playing this tune in 1976; we learned it from the playing of Travis and Trevor Stuart.
